The Wests Tigers have secured Solomona Faataape as their new centre, while still pursuing a deal for Justin Olam. Faataape, a Q Cup standout from the Easts Tigers club, signed on with the Tigers and joined their first session of the new year. St. George Illawarra has signed Ronald Volkman from the Warriors in hopes of solidifying their meager halves options. Additionally, the Dolphins have poached Junior Tupou from the Wests Tigers, while Solomon Alaimalo will be joining the NRL club in the new year. Haumole Olakau’atu has signed an eight-year deal with the Manly Sea Eagles as a strike edge forward, displaying great physicality and leadership skills. There have also been a few changes in the Warriors’ lineup, with Kurt Capewell joining the team immediately from the Broncos. The Warriors have also signed Rocco Berry and Jackson Ford to contract extensions. Tohu Harris has signed a one-year extension with the Warriors, and the Sydney Roosters have extended Sitili Tupouniua’s contract until the end of 2027. In addition to these extensions, the Canberra Raiders have signed Jamal Fogarty to a two-year deal, while the Newcastle Knights extended Jacob Saifiti’s contract until the end of 2027.
