However, Rugby Australia’s new chairman Dan Herbert seems to be focused on prioritizing the development of current rugby union players rather than pursuing NRL talent, hinting that he’s not keen on attracting league players at the moment. Despite this, Addo-Carr feels that the profile of rugby union is not as big as it used to be, expressing his concerns about the current state of the sport. In another move to rugby union, former Leicester Tigers player Harry Potter has declared his ambition to play for the Wallabies and is focused on helping the Force succeed in Super Rugby. Lastly, former England rugby star Jason Robinson admitted that while he has yet to watch the re-run of the 2003 World Cup final, he acknowledges the significant impact the victory had on his life and rugby as a whole.
