I attended an event called “Force of the Fields,” organized by the Western Force at their HQ in Floreat, Perth. The event was a rugby festival aimed at children aged 8-15 years old, but supporters and fans were also welcome. The players who attended included Harry Potter, Santiago Medrano, Carlo Tizzano, and Marley Pearce. The children were not deterred by the strong wind and were able to participate in various rugby activities and meet the players.
I am not affiliated with the Western Force, but I appreciated the event and became a new supporter. The players were great at interacting with the children, which is crucial in developing the sport. The families and fans present were genuinely interested in the game and the success of the Western Force and Australian rugby.
The event was a great experience for the regional area, and I believe that ongoing grassroots-level rugby clinics such as this one can help the game continue to grow. The children are the future of the sport, and it’s important to give them the best start possible.
