Wests Tigers have finally signed Justin Olam from the Melbourne Storm, ending a long-awaited arrival. A swap deal has taken Shawn Blore to Victoria. Olam has signed a three-year contract with the Tigers. Benji Marshall, the new Tigers coach, is pleased with the addition of Olam to the team and is looking forward to the leadership and communication Olam will bring. Another Tigers signing, Solomona Faataape, along with Olam, is expected to be part of the team’s outside backs. St. George Illawarra is back to square one in the halves department due to Ronald Volkman’s departure after a long-standing shoulder issue was revealed during medical tests. Volkman has joined the club from the Warriors. Canberra has signed Zac Hosking from the Panthers to strengthen their backrow. Hosking signed a three-year deal and is also known for his versatility. 27 other moves within NRL clubs were also highlighted.
